   The bed frame arrived and I was surprised to see the feet are actually plastic (from the description it sounded like it was all steel). When I went to assemble it, one was severely cracked – to the point where only one inch of the entire foot was not cracked. Frankly, I’m surprised it made it out of quality control. I refused to use it since a bed frame collapse isn’t something I want to experience. To make matters worse, I didn’t open the package until after 30 days, so I can’t even return it. Not happy with Serta or upholsteredbedframe.com on this one. Serta should have better quality controls in place and upholsteredbedframe.com should have a longer return policy for damaged items.

   The frame seems sturdy enough, but would have been easier to set up had it attached with screws and not just protrusions that fit into slots (it came apart a few times while we tried to set the box springs on top). Metal pieces survived shipping just fine, although the plastic legs got a bit scratched. (And these plastic legs don’t fit well on the frame, either. One keeps bending a bit, so that it looks crooked, even though it doesn’t seem to sacrifice sturdiness.)

   No wheels, not sturdy, costs too much for the quality. Go to Costco!
