    Very hard to assemble. They only give you the exact amount of nuts, bolts, screws etc. no extras which is hard when you may accidentally lose something. Definitely not as sturdy as it should be for the price. Thank goodness my husband is a carpenter and was able to make it safe for our son who absolutely loves it.

    We decided on this loft bed for the different features and overall we are satisfied with the product. However, the assembly instructions need corrections. There were 5 pieces to be installed. The frame of the bed and the rolling desk were correct, but the stairs, the side storage unit and the dresser had at least one of the instructions in reverse, so we had to disassemble and reassemble multiple times. For example, the dresser shows on step 28 that the front end of the unit (W1 part) had the “stopper” piece attached near this piece. Later on we discover that the stopper (for the drawers) should be at the end of the unit (W2 part) instead. The diagram is all wrong in that step. To make it worse, there’s no indication in any of the diagrams to let you know if you are looking at the item from the front side or the back side of the unit. This error cause 4 of our pieces to get damaged. (I will change my review to an additional star if I get replacement parts for those pieces.) The instructions were a bit of a headache, so we had to take a few breaks to complete the assembly, but the end product looks nice.

    Super easy to build but takes a while. The size is great for the kids and the underbed is a nice area for the kids to chill. The bed is pretty strong but the dresser and bookshelf could use a bit more support. Desk is pretty big for what I originally thought it would be. Overall worth it.

    It took about 5 hours to assemble all pieces with me and my husband. The materials are pretty cheaply made. It works for now. We’ve had it for a couple months and so far it’s been okay aside from one of the fronts of the stairs coming off the magnets. The desk feels like it could fall apart pretty easily. The actual bed part is sturdy enough. My 4 year old loves it and can easily get in and out even in the middle of the night. I like the storage part with the dresser and bookshelf. I feel like it will do the job until he outgrows it and doesn’t want it anymore.

    The end result is a gorgeous bed for small children. The instructions leave a lot to be desired and some of the quality of the wood is not good. Had some boards wi the cracks in them, but not in supportive boards. It looks great and holds up well for our son. I love the extra storage which was the selling point for me.

    Absolutely love this bed and so does my grandson. He feels like a big boy in his loft bed like his cousin. But it’s not too high, waist high for us so easy tuck in. It was easy to put together – lots of pieces, just follow the the directions. We did drill pilot holes for the slats for under the mattress to make it easier to screw them in. But with both me and his Mom working it took only a few minutes to do that. Probably 1 1/2 hours total. That includes the 2 bookcase for under the bed. We put one at the head end, by the bookcase he already had and the other at the front so it’s like a little closed in cubby underneath. I’m sure he will love that feature as he gets a little older – who doesn’t love a hideout. The gray is great and matched with the repurposed dresser and chest that we did in chalk paid for his nursery with dark dray and blue drawers. The chalk boards are too slick for chalk to work well, but we didn’t plan to let him use them that way anyway. VERY sturdy and will last him till he outgrows it.

    So, we have had this bed for over 6 months now and I was really hoping it would stand up to what I knew my son would put it through. He can be really rough on furniture and this one has stood up incredibly well. Other than having to put the drawers back on track every now and then and the occasional spot clean, it’s just like when we set it up (very easy set up). The storage is great and the drawers are deep. Hands down, great price and super sturdy for my little wrecking ball.

    My son absolutely loves this bed! it is just as advertised. it is sturdy spacious and has loads of room under the bed. it is low enough for me to feel safe having him in there and high enough to not be super low like a toddler bed. I was able to put it together myself although I recommend two people do it. would definitely order this!!

    This bed is for my spare bedroom. The nightmare started from the start with assembly. The instructions are by picture only, it took quite a while to put together but well worth it finally got it done. The bed itself wobbles and doesn’t seem to stable when getting into. As for the stairs the quality of those are horrible. This bed hasn’t even been slept in. I was just standing in the stairs to make the bed and the bottom stair collapsed on me. So now I have a bed that’s unreturnable and broken.
