It’s easy to assemble, and very sturdy! Took forever to get here though!

I will start with the positives. It looks nice and is fairly sturdy so far. Can well packaged in 2 boxes with the usual million pieces of styrofoam.
As for the assembly, I am a very handy guy and this thing took 4 hours or so. So many pieces and challenging directions to say the least.

Multiple slats broken after assembly when placing the mattress on the bed. Functional and easy to assemble but needing better quality of material. Good size and look exactly like the picture.

Pros: Very sturdy, smooth drawers, great storage, no nasty chemical smell.
Cons: The pictures provided must have a mattress about 3 inches tall. Once you put a real mattress on it (8 inches+) the bed is extremely tall. We also used a bunky board underneath that’s about 1 inch. Altogether, 9 inches press the top of the mattress 3 inches below the top of the headboard. My kiddo has to use a step stool to get in the bed and I added bumpers to make sure he didn’t fall.

It took us about five hours to put together. They’re a ton of pieces, which includes wood dowels and no wood glue. The dowels are not even long enough in some cases, causing gaps in the finished product. We even added our own wood glue. I also don’t care for all the bolts and screws are being left exposed. They’re two defects in the parts we received. One of the boards that stretches across the back that held in the panels was warped. We were able to make it work, but extended the building process. The second defect was on one of the drawer faces. You can see the screws just about to come through the front. Leaving two block dots on the front of the drawer. These were screws placed during the manufacturing process, not by us. Also feel like there was a lost opportunity to maximize storage. There is a lot of unused space behind the drawers. Also thought this bed could be built where the shelves can go on the other side. We have to rearrange the room to make it work.

Overall the bed is a good value, however the support ribs to secure the mattress need supports. Only a few have the leg supports. The end one cracked already.
