You do need a drill( unless you plan on turning for hours with the allen key) and definitely two brains on the job! This bed is an absolute beauty and very well made. It’s very sturdy and secure ! I’m 100% happy with this purchase but I was not expecting to carve 2 & 1/2 hours out my day to do it not upset it’s very much worth every penny.
