It is a bed frame for my studio bed. My ex had to buy extra parts and use them instead.

This may be suitable for a 50 lb. child but defiantly not an adult. Sat down on it once and the cross rods bent immediately. I would be concerned of a puncture wound when it breaks and collapses while putting full weight on it. Buyer beware.

I love the portability of these beds and the fact that it says they will hold up to 500 lbs. I however did not like the fact that half of the hardware was loose and flopping around in the box when I received them. It says setup in minutes, which is what would have been the case, had l not had to figure out where the hardware was missing and put it back together. I also tried to call the warranty number in order to receive a missing washer, as well as a replacement for a damaged leg cap. They told me that since the beds were sold by another vendor I would have to contact upholsteredbedframe.com about the issue. In order to get two small pieces of hardware, I would have to get a full bed replacement. Not worth the trouble. I’ll just go buy a washer and rubber cap. Not at all pleased with the careless way the beds were packed, and the fact that it’s evident the hardware wasn’t inspected to be sure all were snug before shipping. Although the beds are exactly what were described I don’t think I would ever deal with this vendor again.

so I had to put the bubble plastic wrap that comes with the bed frame between the bed and the mattress so it didn’t make a lot of noise.
I also had to put a carpet under it because it was very slipper on my ceramic floor.
