My daughter loves this bed. Was very easy to put together, minimal work. She loves the l.e.d lights and that she has shelves to put her her pretty trinkets on. She loves that she has access to an outlet. Only 2 downsidez about the bed is 1) the l.e.d light strip doesn’t stick very well to the metal the bed is made from, problem is the end where the plug is as the weight from plug pulls the l.e.d strip off the metal. 2) if you live in a apartment building, and other people have l.e.d lights, these light strips do turn on if they are in vicinity turning their own on.

I ordered this bed in a queen and originally was delivered a full by mistake. I had it half way put together before I realized which was upsetting but it was pretty easy and I liked the quality. upholsteredbedframe.com was great with the situation and refunded me so I reordered the queen and was delivered a queen(which was impossible to confirm as it didn’t state anywhere the size, even in the instructions). Because of how well the full sized frame was looking I was excited to put together the queen thinking it would be essentially identical just bigger. It was however a little disappointing and very different. The parts were all packaged in baggies with multiple screw types and lengths per bag with letter stickers on them making it difficult to identify. The pieces weren’t of as good quality as the full one. There were chunks out of the ends of pieces and a lot of the hinge types parts were welded on straight so didn’t lay flush with the pieces attached to them. The assembly was much for difficult and instructions more confusing. The charging station in the headboard overheats, thought it may be my cord so ordered a new one but it still overheats and gets really hot when my phone is plugged in which is kind of scary. Overall the structure of it is ok but would not order again and it made me wish I had a full/double sized bed.

In the instruction manual, they estimate it will take you 30 minutes to assemble. Hah…. HAAAAAH. At least 8 hours for me; putting this thing together is a deceptively large amount of work, but fortunately you only have to do it once! The instructions really aren’t as complicated as some people are saying, either. Just look. Pay attention. Use common sense. it’s not that hard. Overall I really can’t find a flaw in the construction. it’s a well-conceived model. All the joints are solid and secure. The “wood” is typical particle board with a wood design plastic face, but the end result is the edges are fully framed by the metal casing, so I can see it lasting for a very long time. Personally I love the design. I love how functional and compact the headboard shelving is, and the built-in usb port and outlet extension speaks for itself.

The bed is made well once you get it together. Having outlets to be able to charge your phone or reading devices is a bonus. Frame is very sturdy. Good quality for the price. Only negative thing was it took 4 hours to put together, wasn’t easy to assemble. A good note is you don’t have to have box springs if you don’t want to. Would recommend

If you are not incredibly handy and the kind of person who doesn’t need instructions, do not waste your money on this bed frame. There ARE no instructions. Simply a packet of pictures with zero explanation at all and they’re out of order. Furthermore, there are not the correct amount of hardware for some of the pieces but there are several extras of others, the metal on most of the brackets came damaged and caused stripped bolts, and I wasn’t able to attach the wood pieces for the headboard and footboard because they don’t actually fit where they’re supposed to. This was an utter waste of my money and I’m livid.

This bed frame is nice when completed but really hard to assemble. The instructions requires more than just screws. Definitely need two people and some free time to put this together. Its nice when completed but I wish it could have required less time to put together. Buy at your risk! and if you have time!
