   This bed is made of solid heavy and stable wood. I’ve had the king size for 4 months, replacing a noisy headboard. No creeking or banging up against the wall. And it looks great. Thr pictures are an accurate depiction of what was delivered. Important! The headboard has two height levels you can choose from during set up and you should fit your mattress height during setup because the headboard is quite heavy and would be difficult for one person to change (at least for the king). Although set-up seemed basic, I chose to pay for set up based on the published bed weight.
   Although the slats are solid, I also purchased a bunky board to place under my hybrid mattress. There is about 1” lip on the sides and foot. you choose to do that I recommend measuring that space to be sure the board will fit inside the dimensions.

   We were upgrading from a queen to a king and found nothing locally that we liked. After looking extensively on line at Wayfair, upholsteredbedframe.com and others, we landed on the Acacia Sierra. The reviews were all great so we felt it was worth the risk. Upon receipt and assembly, I can say all the reviews were correct. This bed is awesome. We love the look of the headboard and the color blends great with our other furniture pieces and LVP flooring. The box was well packed and no damage whatsoever to the wood pieces inside. Assembly instructions were clear and the kit includes all the hardware required along with extras. With two of us working together, it took less than an hour to assemble, taking our time. We opted to put the headboard at the highest setting, knowing that our new mattress was going to be 14” and it’s right where we wanted it to be. One of the other factors in choosing this bed was the ability to store items under the bed frame. This bed gives you just over 7” clearance and our two under bed storage bins fit nicely. Since sleeping on this now for just under a week, we’ve had no issues and no squeaks, creaks or noises whatsoever. For anyone on the fence – buy this bed. You won’t be disappointed.

   Forget the MDF products at IKEA and Wayfair. We were skeptical to buy a bed on upholsteredbedframe.com claiming to be real wood. This is real wood! It is heavy, sturdy and really well-made. The slates stay in place with Velcro and do not shift. We got the Ebony color because we wanted a dark look. It is not black. It is a nice dark brown. This bed is really nice to look at and we couldn’t recommend it more.

   I have been in the furniture business for my entire life and if there is anything that I know about- it’s furniture. What is good and what isn’t so good. I work for a very high end furniture company and I am almost embarrassed to say that this is made almost as well as anything that we sell (for10x the price). It’s sturdy and the wood is real and the grain is beautiful Well done guys, well done!

    Pretty design and wood grain pattern. Great purchase! Headboard leaves room above the mattress top and pillows to actually see the headboard Felt feet on wood supports for the bed. Easy assembly for two people

    Not bad, it’s made of solid wood and it is very sturdy. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was lower to the ground than expected. That being said it’s not a bad purchase for the price and once you put a thick enough mattress it looks a lot better.

    We love the look of this bed. It is very heavy; we had to take it upstairs piece by piece. The directions are easy enough to follow, although, inexperienced as we are, it took us over an hour to get everything right. When we got to the last two screws and screw inserts nothing we did worked. It was extremely frustrating. We *finally* realized that it was because the holes for the insert were not drilled deeply enough, so the inserts do not fit in by a fraction of an inch. We will have to have them drilled better because the option of returning the bed is too burdensome (and because we really do like the bed).

    I was hesitant due to the limited number of reviews. I just finished putting this together. It looks fantastic and is built to last. 100% real wood. Better than I expected for the price. The hardware quality is top Notch. This is a serious piece of furniture that I’m Sure will last for decades.

    If you are thinking about buying this bed. I highly recommend it. This is a quality item and I am very pleased with the look and how heavy duty this is. Easy to assemble, even by yourself. All for a reasonable price. Hard to find new furniture like this.
