Do not buy this furniture. I purchased the king size bed, 2 night stands and the 6 drawer dresser. They are attractive pieces of furniture and I would have liked them … BUT. This furniture has sharp edges everywhere. The very first night I slept in the bed, I got up at 4 in the morning and cracked my knee on the sharp corner of the footboard. It was in excruciating pain. Could barely walk. The next day I had to tape bubble rap on the corners of the footboard to prevent me and my husband from injuring our knees. My husband has had 2 knee replacements and cannot afford to injure his knees. All of the furniture has these same sharp wooden edges that go to points. This furniture would be exceptionally dangerous for children. Because, if they were to fall against it, they could sustain some serious injuries. My Grandson put the bed together for me and the first thing he did was start to walk away from the bed and cracked his knee. I knew about this and still did the same thing in the middle of the night. This is very attractive furniture for a great price, but unfortunately the design is very flawed. I am wondering if anyone else who purchased this furniture has had this same experience. I want to send it back, as there is no way at 75 years of age I can afford to injure myself again. However, the logistics of sending this furniture back is very complicated and will be difficult.
