Thrilled with the bedframe, absolutely beautiful and well crafted. Directions were clear and straightforward for assembly and brilliantly engineered with all the pieces going together smoothly.
I assembled the bedframe by myself, a wee bit tricky but easily done by one of person. Took two hours to assemble as I went slowly and did not rush. As stated above directions are clear and straightforward.
The bedframe wood is well crafted and arrived without a scratch. Suggestion you have the bedframe placed roughly where you want it as it’s heavy.
There are little white stickers on each piece of wood to identify in the directions, removal after assembly was easy by gently scraping off label with fingernail then using 90% alcohol in a soft cloth to remove the sticky remnants caused no harm to the finish.
Highly recommend purchasing this bedframe, total quality and beauty. A well done nod to the manufacturer. Once again, thrilled with the purchase.

This product when delivered is exceptionally heavy, make sure you have at least two people carrying this item or honestly three.
This product asks for two people to assemble, but carefully, I did it myself. The instructions were easy, and the color of the bed is definitely dark and black. Gothic and high quality.
Definitely worth the price, and does not move when you lay on it. No noise. Functional and aesthetically pleasing. Fits a queen mattress perfectly, no box spring needed.

Product is solid wood and looks nice. Looks like it would be a good bedframe.
Wasn’t able to assemble since main headboard piece arrived damaged. Waiting to hear back from the seller if I can get a replacement.
Also box wasn’t delivered to my apartment. It was left at a different neighbors so I had to find a way to carry it all the way to mine and it’s a pretty heavy box.

I was nervous about two issues with this bed: 1) all the reviews recently that mentioned mold, and 2) the difference of opinion as to the black or brown color of the bed. I put this bed together by myself. It was not exceedingly difficult, but I took my time. I would say the frame I received is decidedly NOT black, but I knew this was a possibility. Also, although there was no mold on the broad sides of any piece, a surprising number had mold on the ends. I kept some disinfectant wipes handy and cleaned as I went. Two of the smaller bolts were missing in the provided packaging, but fortunately one was included in the “spare parts” bag. I improvised the other with a bolt we already had. I have not slept on the bed, but it feels very sturdy and is quite attractive. I would recommended with caution.

Like others, the bed frame arrived with mold on the ends and cracks. Rubber wood is susceptible to fungus and insects. I chose to clean it and will paint it. Otherwise, it is a sturdy frame that otherwise works well.
