There is no communication from East West furniture. I sent them an email regarding the slats as the wood seems rather thin and there are many little spaces in the wood itself so I’m a bit concerned about longevity. Having said this, the mattress appears to be level. The photos show a strip of rubber on top of the metal support frame but that didn’t exist on my sample. The frame itself seems sturdy enough. There was a bit of damage on one of the wood side rails on the left side where it meets the foot board.
