When we opened the box to start assembling this bedframe, the first step is to put the headboard together. When I went to take the wood board out of the plastic, I noticed that one corner was completely ruined and unusable. I contacted upholsteredbedframe.com and they referred me to contacting the manufacturer. upholsteredbedframe.com was not that helpful but did offer a partial refund. Luckily my husband is handy because he decided to make pieces out of real wood, instead of particles board like this item has. I have emailed the company about this (since they do not offer a phone number for contacting them) and I am waiting on a response, if I even get one.
On a different note, the bedframe is pretty solid and noise free so far.
I have attached photos of the condition we received the particle board and the fully assembled frame with the wood my husband replaced. We plan on staining or painting the wood eventually but we were pretty much over the entire situation by the time we finished putting it together…so we will wait for another time to do that part.
