   This was neatly packaged in just one long, narrow box that weighed less than 60 pounds. I’m small but found it easy to drag the box inside and store it until we were ready to put the bed together. Assembly took under an hour without a problem. The headboard is simple, attractive, and of much higher quality than the particle board that’s usually sold. Overall, the entire bed seems very sturdy and was an excellent buy for the money.

   I’m really impressed with the KOMFOTT Queen Size Wood Platform Bed Frame. It’s solid, doesn’t squeak, and looks great in the bedroom with its clean wood finish and built-in headboard. The 10-leg support makes it feel incredibly sturdy, and the slat system holds my mattress perfectly—no box spring needed! I also love the under-bed clearance, which gives me extra storage space.    This bed is not very sturdy. The extra support legs have all bent after about a week of using this bed.

   Don’t waste your money on this bed. When I first assembled the frame, the cheapness of construction was immediately apparent. The biggest issue were the small legs which run under the bed. They were too short and did not screw into the bolts very securely. When I first sat on the bed after adding a mattress, I could hear them hit the ground and slide around every time I sat down. I wrote Komfott about this issue and instead of sending me replacement legs they assured me that the design is “intentional” and would “allow for the bed to be leveled when the mattress is placed on top and pressure applied.” They suggested it would level out in time. I asked for a refund and they said they could give me one if I returned the bed, but I needed a bed frame and didn’t want to go through the hassle. Four months later, four of six of those little legs collapsed out from under the bed, both because the bolts which should have secured the legs FELL out of the wood planks, and because one of the legs SPLIT down the middle. While Komfott did issue me a full refund and told me to dispose of the bed, it is telling and very distressing that they only did this AFTER something dangerous happened and not when I wrote them signaling a problem. Other issues: it was also clear that the horizontal wood slats which support the mattress are made of cheap soft wood which you have to be careful when screwing etc for fear of it splitting. And there was a scratch on the headboard. In sum, do not buy. I have bought many cheap beds from IKEA and upholsteredbedframe.com, but they were all better quality than this.

   Bonjour, base très jolie, et très solide. Correspond à mes besoins. Produit de qualité. Seulement, un peu d’ajustement, pour les pattes de soutien en dessous de la basse de lit un peu courte. J’ai dû ajouter un spacer de flambée,ou de bois. À part cela il est très bien fabriqué. Très content de mon achat.
