   Sturdy bedstand. Easy to assemble. Looks greatly overall. The issue is that it squeaks at the headboard. The slip joint where the headboard meets the frame is made of cheap, flimsy metal that causes a squeak with any movement.

   The bed itself is pretty nice. The directions need to be revised. We had to improvise as the screws that were supposed to be used in steps were too big for the holes. We rolled the dice and used the smaller screws to make it work.

   It is definitely important not to tighten the screws until the very end. The company does give you heads up on that!

   Some of the screw holes are missing the ridges for the screw to turn into, making the frame impossible to assemble. There are also cracked parts of the wood and the color is yellow, not a neutral wood color as pictured. Now I am expected to pay postage for a return and will wind up spending more than the frame to return it. So basically I can’t use the frame and have to pay to return it. Horrible company and product.

   The bedframe is aesthically nice and pleasing. The wood-ish material is pretty decent. The installation is a hot-mess! It’s not hard to assemble, it’s just annoying. There are too many parts that could have been manufactured in a less tedious and irritating way. Overall, a good purchase if you’re good with assembly or have help.

   I almost never leave reviews, but this one earned it. Firstly, the color is nothing like the product photos, and also may just be the wrong product altogether. The product photos show some groves horizontally on the headboard, but this has none, it is just flat. The color has a strong yellow tone to it, which is completely different from the product photos which show no hint of yellow. We decided to build it and see if it would grown on us, but now that we have the rest of a new bedroom set it clashes and is so out of place. The second problem with this product is the assembly. The assembly instructions are terrible. Steps are not very thought out, definitely requiring more than one person in some steps, getting ahead of itself without explaining how you get to that point, and diagrams that aren’t clear about where certain screws are supposed to go. To me it’s like a manual of “how it’s assembled” instead of “how YOU are meant to assemble it”. Steps 2 and 6 are particularly bad in my opinion. I decided to watch the video of assembly shown on the product page, and that shows an even more complicated, maybe impossible way of assembly. Once built, the bed frame does seem sturdy. However the support legs on the sides seem to be bending inward. Also the mattress easily slides across the frame. I have contacted the seller via the email address that came with the product, but have not heard back yet. It is not okay to receive a product that does not match the product you paid for and were expecting. I would like to return it for refund, but it was such a hassle to build I’m still deciding if it’s worth the hassle to disassemble.

   The assembly instructions were very straightforward. The headboard came with two small bumps due to manufacturer error but the customer service was very fast, understanding and helpful.

   My son has been using this bed for just a few months. We are well under the weight limits for this bed, but the side rails are in two pieces and have a leg that connects the two. I noticed the leg was bending and at an angle and reached out to the seller for help. They said they would send a new piece. Unfortunately its been two weeks and the leg is completely broken off now and still no replacement part. Its a terrible design. I would recommend looking for a bed that has a solid single piece for the side rails, and don’t purchase this product. Its not even safe for my son to lay on at this point and I’m going to have to purchase a new bed. Not to mention it scraped up my epoxy floors.
