   This bed is pretty solid once you get it put together, but it’s not easy to put together. I’ve purchased and put together beds of this style before: 1 king, 3 queens and a twin. They all follow a pattern, have clear instructions, and are easy to put together. I’ve taken a couple apart, moved them and put them back together, without any instructions at all.

   This bed was way more complicated. Maybe it’s because it’s a day-bed? But really, it just didn’t need to be this complicated. And the instructions were almost worthless. I had to figure out a lot of things on my own, and sometimes did that by undoing the last 2 steps I did and trying a different way. Also, for 3 of the parts of the bed where you screwed right into the frame (rather than run a bolt through the frame to nut), the receiving end stripped before I could get the screw tightened.

   The instructions recommended 2 people and stated that it should take 30 minutes to assemble. I did it by myself and it took me over 3 hours. But again, I’ve assembled queen size and king size beds myself and they took less than an hour.

   Decided on metal instead of wood so it would not get scratches or damage to wood. Looked for “sturdy”. Liked the weight limit. Son, 52, used a drill socket and from opening box to stuffing in the cardboard in recycle bin, took him 55 minutes by himself. No issues. Using a high quality 12″mattress. Surprised box was so small. Surprised rails were so small in diameter. A lot of screws but they were black to match. Using the spare room for sewing and guest. Good choice for what we need, but not expensive if want to do something else in the future.

   Arrived on time and was perfectly packaged to protect all parts. Everything needed was included in the package. Directions were fairly easy to follow. Does really need two people to assemble. Parts are well made, sturdy and fit properly. Extra of each nut/bolt/washer etc. Took us approximately 1 hour to complete. Love the powder coat paint finish Recommend

   I was pretty sure we can’t assemble this without having difficulties after reading some negative reviews about it , but alas, I was wrong !!! We managed to built it within an hour and everything was working perfectly. No missing parts , and no parts not aligning with each other at all. Seems pretty sturdy . We used 8” thick mattress with it . My husband and I plus our dog can easily lay on it without any issues , while watching TV in the living room. We’re definitely satisfied with this purchase .

   If your not patient building stuff I would suggest getting some additional help. I say this because although it’s not that complicated, there are pieces that need to be held in place while you screw them togather which can get tricky if your building alone. Overall happy with the purchase, it’s sturdy and not noisy. For reference the mattress is 10 inches and there’s still some room from the arm rest area. The bed has a nice matte finish, great buy for additional guests. Definitely worth the price!!!

   I love this daybed. I just got it today so hopefully I can remember to write a follow up review but for now, this can’t be beat for the price. It’s sturdy, doesn’t make any noise and let looks amazing in my family room. It took me a couple of hours to put it together but I did it by myself. No issues with holes lining up or anything.

   The bed had a ding in the middle of the headboard and the seller offered to replace headboard or give a 30% percent discount. I took the discount since I have guests coming in soon. The seller was very polite and gave great customer service. Other then that it is a nice bronze color and seems pretty sturdy. I really like the way it looks. The build took me a while since I did it alone but the instructions were straight forward. I would purchase again.
