I needed a small bed with storage for temporary apartment. I read reviews and saw people complain about bars breaking. So I purchased and put a full size board across the bed. It has not broke. The storage is great. It’s not drawers. It’s pull out on wheels. So they do move around. For the price it’s worth what I needed it for

Easy to assemble and I am 70 years old and don’t move so well anymore. Only thing that might have been nice would be 4 drawers instead of 2. I ended up putting the bed against the wall so if it had come with 4 … 2 would have been useless anyway. So 2 works.

November Update: the “support” bars just keep crapping out. They’re pretty much plastic. At this point, we are going to buy a new bed.
Original review: This bed looks exactly like the picture. Overall, I love the appearance. Now that it’s been several months owning it, we’ve learned that no one except our 5 year old can sit or lay on it otherwise the “support” bars underneath the mattress will bend. With even the slightest bit of pressure, these bend completely in half so we’ve resorted to flipping the bent ones over so at least the mattress doesn’t fall through and setting a house rule that no one over 65lbs can even look at the bed for fear the bars will bend. I would definitely not buy this again unless it came with triple the amount of support bars (we’ve already been through 5).

I’m 5’11 and ~260lbs and it’s been pretty great! Not sure if I’d leap onto it, but it was easy to assemble and looks more expensive than I paid for it. There’s still plenty of under-bed space even with both drawers closed. I use a memory foam mattress and it’s pretty comfy. The slatted design distributes weight and supports you pretty evenly, so you’re not sinking through the frame at any spot (I toss and turn a LOT). My mattress doesn’t repeatedly slide off like some without a raised edge, either. I can easily reach between it and the wall without issue because there isn’t a panel on two of the sides (headboard side and the side opposite the drawers). It’s definitely held up well for the last few months, anyway.
