When I got the 2 giant boxes with the components of the bed, it was overwhelming. The instructions were clear though and step by step we got the job done. It looks great. My only complaint is with the trundle part. I think there should be more slats and not box like with a head and a foot would help. We solved the problem by attaching 1/4’inch plywood to the bed on top of the slats. This made it sturdier and much more comfortable. Otherwise this is a very sturdy, handsome bed.

Shipment came quick. Beds are stackable. As a woman I did put it together myself. Didn’t really have that much trouble me putting it together. The only thing that I didn’t like was that not all slats were the same size, meaning that when I would get on the bed with minimal movement the slats would come off. I was really irritated having to fix them. Also, I would drill the slats but it’s pointless. Maybe if you can resend me the slats with the correct sizes I can change the review.
