I just received this and assembled it today. All of the pine wood was unfinished and poorly sanded. Mostly, it was just raw lumber. The slats are extremely thin and made of soft, cheap wood. It reminded me of balsa wood for airplane models. All of the fastening metal strips were cheap and very poorly designed for aesthetics. It was all very shoddy. It fits the stereotype of Chinese quality. The photos of the product make it look nicer than it is. They also do not show the ugly, shoddy, metal fastening strips. Overall, when assembled, it should be usable when lying upon the mattress. But, don’t try to stand on it, or an adult male would go right through. It is not worth the price by a long shot. I wish I had gone to Ikea.

Packaging was flimsy cardboard and was torn and the wood got all wet, so now there are warped boards at the ends. But it’s such cheap wood that this feels like a joke. Going straight back.

Poor quality, not what the photographs show. I ordered a Cal King and my mattress is 6 inches longer than the frame. Lucky for seller I have no interest in taking the bed apart to return it. I’ll remove the cheap headboard and make the mattress fit better, 3 inches at each end is better than 6. Buyer beware, don’t waste your money,

I would not buy this item. It came in a box which was totally destroyed due the the poor packing and quality of the cardboard. The directions were in chinese, luckily there were pictures and we are pretty savvy with figuring things out but it was not easy. Very flimsy wood pieces, I will be surprised if it doesnt fall apart and there were many pieces of hardware missing from the bag. Overpriced for the quality
