The Boyd frame was easy to assemble and very well made. We replaced our current wood slat foundation with this frame and it fit perfectly within our bed headboard and footboard. There are no squeaks and the frame is sturdy.

Our very heavy queen mattress was longer than the original bed frame and drooped about a foot at the end of the bed. This frame is much sturdier than you would think while you’re setting it up. It securely holds the mattress, which no longer feels like it might fall through! I do wish it connected to the bed frame though. That’s the only negative.

Everything fits right and is solid. Be careful inserting the wooden slats as they can split a bit (it’s wood). It’s packaged well and I really like it.
Edit: the metal holding each leg is too weak. Some of the legs have bent at the top of the T.

OK, I have a toddler who loves to come running in and jump on me in the morning… My bed is also he bed to jump on and he takes every opportunity to do so… No creaking and no issues. If I did hear a creak I’d check that everything has stayed tightened… That hasn’t happened, now after years.
Easy and quick to put together, no issues with the slats.
My only criticism is not having a place to attach a headboard without purchasing a separate bracket that requires it be installed into the unit.
I do recommend this.

This is a very solid and sturdy frame that although was a pain to assemble was worth it in the end. After removing our original box springs and replacing with this frame it’s almost as if we have a new mattress! The old one cricked and screeched with each move we made on it but now not 1 sound with movement! It improved the overall support of the mattress as well. If you prefer a more firm feel from your mattress this will certainly assist in that. We do have to eventually replace our existing mattress but with this frame we now have a little added time to do so since it gave it more life and eliminated the creaky sounds.

This is my 3rd purchase of this style frame. Not because they broke but I’ve moved a bit. I love the ease of putting together and it’s a solid product not made with flimsy metal but very well built. Comes with all the tools needed and spares. Love this style because no need for a box spring and sits high for comfort.
