   I needed to fill a bedroom with furniture quick on a small budget so I ran to upholsteredbedframe.com to see what I could find that could also be delivered fast. This bed frame met the requirements so I took a chance and ordered it. Overall it seems to be a decent quality bed frame for the price. I’m not super handy so it did take me over two hours to put it together but that also included having to take two pieces apart that I put together backwards. The directions were actually pretty good and I take full responsibility for my own errors. I only had one issue with a single screw hole not lining up on the headboard wood piece to the metal frame. Nothing a pair of pliers couldn’t fix to expand the hole in the metal bar to shift it slightly. Honestly not a big deal considering how reasonable this frame was. It was a bit lower than I expected but again, I was in a rush when buying and didn’t even read the dimensions beyond it being a Queen sized bed. Once the mattress was added (another upholsteredbedframe.com find), I think it actually looks pretty cute and will work perfect for what I was needing.

   It’s been over 2 years. Been taken apart and put back together 3 times. I ain’t moving that kid any anymore 😃. Looks like brand new, super sturdy and easy to move.

   My daughter is turning 4 soon so we got her a twin bed and she absolutely loves it. It didn’t take long to put together and it is sturdy!

   For what It Is and what It’s used for, It Is ok. I put a hybrid mattress on It and noticed the springs not playing well with the metal slats. Took a new 4’x8′ sheet of 1/2″ plywood and I cut It to size. Put the custom cut one piece plywood on the frame and now I have a platform bed that will stay even the whole way across. With the plywood, It feels like a rock solid foundation. Plywood was around $25. I gave It 5 stars anyways because If I need a piece of 1/2″ plywood, I have one stashed under the mattress.

   The positive reviews are very misleading, most parts of the frame are asymmetric when they aren’t supposed to be so I kept thinking “did I put it on the wrong way just to realize no it’s just poorly manufactured”

   the instructions are horrible there is so much overlay that I found it hard to read, some parts aren’t even on the instructions and even the parts I could read I found myself confused very often while putting it together.

   While also reading the instructions I was told to use certain screws but the screw I was looking for was in a bag with a 2 other types and there are like 3 bags like this.

   Overall I would never recommend this to anyone due to the poor craftsmanship and confusing instructions.

    On the headboard and footboard, there are no predrilled holes to put the screws in. When putting it together you have to use the given wood screws and screwdriver to carefully screw it together (no drill, you’ll strip it), all while making sure you’re screwing in the right place and making it as perfect as possible. Not a big deal if you aren’t a perfectionist (or have OCD). Second thing was some of the welded threaded inserts were placed in slightly crooked so it made it a bit hard to line them up and tighten, but once you have it you’re good to go. Suggestions: -All screws are hex except the ones for the headboard and footboard!!!! Make sure to buy the appropriate bits if you go in that direction (M3 or M4 and M5) -MAKE SURE TO LAY OUT AND SORT YOUR PIECES FIRST (I know I know, controversial, and yes I’m that type of lego builder too) all pieces are alphabetical and it goes from A-X, so there’s quite a few pieces. -Use a drill for 90% of the tightening, make sure its set to like 14-16lbs and not full screw so you don’t snap, bend, strip, etc. -You can use a ratchet but I just used the given wrench to hold the nut while using the drill to tighten the hex screw -When tightening the screws above the headboard and footboard, at the bottom of the highest bar on both, make sure to use the allen key, the drill wont fit. Tighten these as much as possible (without breaking) at the end. -Put the feet on before the upright supports are put in place. If you don’t you might scratch your floor (comes with pads too if you want to be extra careful). -Instructions are not fantastic but get the job done. Other than that, super solid, pretty easy to put together. Total time (with the drill) was about 2hrs. Picture is what it looked like with a 10in mattress on it 🙂

    Pictures don’t do it justice but these are the only ones I could find! The bed looks exactly as pictured, great quality for the price! Definitely a great option for someone needing a solution for a year or so, don’t think it will last much longer than 3 years depending how you take car of your furniture. If you have children, I recommend getting furniture corner pads as we run our legs into it a bunch and it hurts! (not a bed problem, but a room-size problem lol). Wooden-features hold up great! I’ve had this for about two years, one of the center posts underneath has bent in but it still holds up fine. Overall, really glad we bought this!

    Some screws were missing and we had extra of other sizes. I purchased the queen size. The first 4 steps were easy, the rest were confusing and difficult. My husband did rescue me and we made the leftover screws work. I like the look of the bed frame, but cannot recommend it. I am also unclear how sturdy the frame is. Hopefully as a guest bed, it won’t have any rough activities, if you know what I mean.

    I ordered this product a few weeks ago, and so far, I am enjoying it. It was really easy to put together and it is really sturdy. The overall build quality is really good. Every part came properly labeled and in fairly decent quality. I did have one part that was slightly bent and the weld on it broke when constructing the bed. However, that small problem does not affect the overall sturdiness of the product. I highly recommend this frame. It is a great product for a great price.
