   This came very quickly. There was some damage to the shipping box, which unfortunately affected the contents. (see photos) The damage was not enough to warrant a return however, because we were on a time crunch to get the base done before the mattress was delivered. This took me about 2.5 to 3 hours to complete by myself. Someone else could probably do it faster, but I went through the manual meticulously to make sure all the pieces were there and everything was oriented the correct way. There were also 2 bolt holes not drilled in the correct piece. (see photos) Annoying for sure (as I ended up putting the drill bit through my thumb nail. Oooowww…) but again, not a return-worthy thing. Once it was done, it lifts very easily with no mattress and decently easily with a mattress for a fit person (we have a queen medium Tempurpedic). Although I would not think a child or an elderly person would be able to lift it. Once up, it stays up unassisted. Some have said the hydraulics fail after some time, so we’ll see. I don’t anticipate opening this very often as it will be used to store extra bedding and winter clothes. Overall I feel this was a good deal despite the cosmetic and installation setbacks. The storage is phenomenal, as we are in a park model home and need every square inch we can get.

   The assembly wasn’t too difficult and the lift up is very easy. I a very happy with how much I can fit underneath; however after only a month of use, it is extremely creaky and noisy. I am hoping that it doesn’t get worse, as I can tolerate it for now, but which it was quieter.

   Exactly what the wife wanted. This frame is for a king mattress. Plenty of room for storage. A high quality engineered product. Directions were easy to understand and everything assembled easily. Box was damaged in shipping but the contents were unharmed and all intact. Highly recommend.

   It was well packed, arrived on time, it was easy to assemble. There is no explanation of anything regarding how to put it together, just drawings. But if you are mindful and look at the pictures, count the holes and figure out the direction of the pieces it will go well. Double check on everything you do and look at the pictures of the instructions. IMPORTANT: Once you have assembled all the pieces, put the mattress on top. OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT GO DOWN. I read many reviews to figure out why I couldn’t make the hydraulics go down. Some mention the same issue. Once you do that, it will work very well. Feels safe and strong. It is not made of solid wood, it looks like formica, once you get close to the material. The description mentioned that it is solid wood, that has to be changed otherwise it is misleading. But it looks nice. So I don’t care. It has an extra space to keep, linens, same as having a closet.

   Delivered without anything broken. Packaged very well. Assembly was straight- forward following their step-by-step directions. I was able to cut a hole in the footboard to accommodate my bedjet, which is what I was looking for. The hydraulics work great for me to raise and lower the bed frame myself, without taking any bedding, including pillows, of the bed. I’m 63 years of age. I can get under the frame once raised and get what I need instead of pulling everything out to find what I need. Space is limited in my room so this was a huge benefit to me. I already had a headboard from my previous bed, so I just stood it behind the frame and push my pillows against it. Overall, I’m pleased with this bed frame.

   I honestly loved the frame when I first came across it. It’s pretty inexpensive and it’s good quality. It’s strong and looks great after setting it all up. An easy build that for sure. Its takes only one person to build this frame. All the part where there, nothing to be confused about. Pretty true to size, the only thing would be that there is a gap between the bed and the wall from where the headboard would be. So you’ll probably need a pillow wedge so you won’t lose your pillows or phone at night while you’re sleeping. You’ll make a little noise when you’re closing the storage part of the frame but nothing too crazy. Holds a lot of storage under the bed too. Overall great for saving space. Not super low to the ground, pretty comfort I would say. The bed is about knee high level.

   I was able to build this on my own in three hours with no problems. The panels look good, but if you bump them they don’t feel very solid. This doesn’t affect the sturdiness – I feel great sleeping on it and have walked on it (I weigh 215 lbs) with no issues.

   The hydraulics are a little tight when first using it, but it gets much easier as you lift it a few times. It feels totally secure (no risk of falling) when open. For how cheap it is, it provides an excellent amount of storage space while functioning perfectly as a frame.

   Just keep the dimensions in mind; this frame is shorter than my last one so I had to get new storage boxes to hold my stuff in.

   Love how this looks in my room! Easy to build, for the most part, one person can do it. Just a few times my partner came to help! The lift is strong and love hiding my storage boxes under the bed!! Makes a simplistic/clean room!
