Very easy to assemble. I like how most of the parts were put together. I’m a petite girl and it wasn’t that heavy for me to pull to my room. I love the low look of my bed which makes it easy for my toddler to get up and down. No noise to my bed at all. I made sure to tighten everything as hard as I can. It fits great on my full size mattress. And no sliding whatsoever

The cross bars contently fall from the top and bottom. The bars don’t click into place. They just rest in the slot. I have a full sized mattress

ADDITIONAL UPDATE! Another week has gone by and this thing is a total piece of CRAP!! I wish I could give it negative stars. Too bad I am too late to return this or I definitely would! DON’T BUY EVER!
UPDATE!!! After about 6 weeks of use this thing squeaks and creaks with every move you make! What a piece of junk! We definitely will have to replace it SOON!
It seemed sturdy while putting it together. It was fairly easy to assemble. The height is perfect for what we wanted. The disappointment comes in less than 2 weeks of use and it already makes noise. The mattress also slides extremely easy, so you have to continually adjust it back into place. I hope it lasts, but so far it seems like it will be needing replaced within the first 6-12 months at this rate.

This is very sturdy and my mattress stays put. I had asked how many slats it came with (24 as shown in one pic or 22 as shown in a different one. To confirm, for a Queen size, this has 24 slats – 12 per side. Including the central horizontal beam, as well as the header and footer beams, it makes for 15 supports along the frame from head to foot. Two of them are fairly close to the header and footer end beams so that the mattress won’t sag at either end. Great design.
It really is short though so this is great for super tall mattresses. I got it because I myself am short – only 5′ tall, but my mattress and topper combo wasn’t quite high enough for me to be comfortable getting up out of bed (I’m 54 so getting up from lower elevations isn’t so easy for me anymore LOL) so I’ve ordered the 8″ instead. No fault of the frame – just my underestimation lol. It’s really a great bed frame though so I stuck with the same brand for the 8″ queen I just ordered. The 5″ will probably be passed to my daughter for her use – it’s surprisingly fantastic quality for the price point – I was very pleasantly surprised!

Relatively easy to assemble..had to switch around some of the cross bars to get them to fit. It would be nice if this had come with a cover like some of the others I saw after getting this one. An appropriate cover is difficult to find. Otherwise I’m well pleased with this purchase and it is a great alternative to the bulky and heavy box springs.
